Privacy Policy

DZEE — DayZ Economy Editor app. Last updated: June 13, 2026.

1. Data controller

The data controller is TawaSoftware (Philippe MAES, sole trader), publisher of the DZEE (DayZ Economy Editor) app. Full postal details are provided in the legal notice. For any question about your data: contact@tawasoftware.com.

2. Data the app processes

To let you administer your DayZ server, DZEE processes only the information you enter yourself:

  • your server connection details: FTP host and port, Nitrado Service ID, mission folder;
  • authentication secrets: FTP password and Nitrado API token.

DZEE does not ask for any personal data that is not required for this purpose. There is no DZEE account to create.

3. Local storage and iCloud sync

This information is stored locally on your device: secrets in the system's secure store (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android), other settings in the app's storage.

On Apple devices, and solely for your own use, this data may be synced via iCloud (synchronizable iCloud Keychain and iCloud Key-Value Store) so you can find your servers across your devices. This sync is handled by Apple, under your iCloud account; the publisher has no access to it.

4. No collection or sharing by the publisher

TawaSoftware does not collect your data and has no access to it. No information is sent to the publisher or to any third party for tracking, profiling or advertising.

DZEE contains no advertising, no analytics and no trackers. Your data is never sold, rented or shared.

5. Network communications

The only network connections the app makes are:

  • the Nitrado API and the FTP server of your game server, to read and write mission files and control the lifecycle of your server — i.e. services you configured yourself;
  • the download of reference files (translations and content categorization) from tawasoftware.com, read-only: no personal data is sent during these requests.

6. Retention and deletion

Your data stays on your device for as long as you use the app. You can delete it at any time by removing a saved server in the app or by uninstalling DZEE. If iCloud sync is enabled, deletion propagates through Apple's mechanisms.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the app or to applicable regulations. The last-updated date is shown at the top of this page.
