Insectix requires no account: no sign-up, no email address, no password. The only data we keep on our servers is what you deliberately send to the online leaderboard.

Erase your scores from the game

This is the fastest way, and it requires nothing from us:

  1. open Insectix;
  2. open the Ranking (the podium, top left of the title screen);
  3. tap Delete my scores, then confirm.

Your entries disappear from the leaderboard immediately and permanently. The button only appears if you have actually submitted at least one score.

Request deletion by email

If you have uninstalled the game or changed device, write to contact@tawasoftware.com with the three initials and the number shown next to your score (for example ABC#12). We delete the entry within 30 days and confirm it to you.

Without those initials we cannot find your data: it is tied to no identity of any kind.

What gets deleted

  • the initials you chose and the number attached to them;
  • your scores, along with the wave reached and how long each game lasted;
  • the random identifier assigned to your installation, whose only purpose is to link your scores together.

Deletion is complete: no copy is kept for statistics.

What is kept, and why

  • Server technical logs (IP addresses, request timestamps), kept for 30 days then erased automatically. They exist to detect abuse and leaderboard fraud, and are tied to no player.
  • Your personal best scores and settings, which are not on our servers: they stay on your device. Uninstalling the game erases them.
  • Your "remove ads" purchase, whose history belongs to Google Play or the App Store, not to us. We hold no record of it — which is precisely what lets you restore it after reinstalling.

Advertising

Ads are served by Google AdMob, which uses your device's advertising identifier. That data never passes through our servers and we cannot delete it. You control it directly from your phone's settings, and you can change your advertising consent at any time through Privacy options in the game's Settings.
